Perforated Plate
Perforated plates are punched on very large, capital-intensive machines with a punching force of up to 500 tons. However, it is only afterwards that the true mastery becomes apparent. As the sheets are heavily deformed during perforation, they have to be subsequently perfectly flattened again on straightening machines.
They can also warp later because of undetected stress or during welding. This is why the entire manufacturing and processing operation needs to be controlled with the utmost precision. PACO uses perforated plates as support elements in filter cylinders and for numerous other stabilization tasks in filter manufacturing.
