PACO is a group of companies that have joined forces to become one of the world's leading suppliers of products and solutions made from high-precision metal wire cloth. Firmly rooted in the Main-Kinzig region, the Steinau an der Straße-based company with 350 employees at five locations supplies its products to high-profile customers in over 80 countries around the world. PACO products are primarily used for filtration, separation and screening as well as high-tech screen-printing in a wide range of industries.

It's no secret that women in management positions - especially in family businesses - are still a rarity. I really appreciate the fact that PACO's management recognises the abilities of its female employees, encourages them and gives them the opportunity to develop, especially in a male-dominated industry.

From temporary worker to skilled tradesman

As I enjoyed working at PACO from the outset and the work in the weaving mill was both exciting and challenging, I decided to start an apprenticeship as a production technician in the textile division the following year.

PACO is part of our family,

... just as my family and me are a part of PACO. My grandfather used to work here as a metal cloth weaver and my father, who also works at PACO, made it clear to me early on where a career at PACO could take me. I value PACO as a secure employer as well as a family environment in the truest sense of the word. And thanks to the flexible working hours, I can fulfil my role as a young family father. And who knows, maybe one day my daughter will also become a member of the PACO family.
